Arrests & Citations

On Tuesday, July 23, at 5:03 p.m. on the 4200 block of Shorewood Tr., Wilson Goffner, 37, of Harvey, LA was arrested and transported to the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center for Soliciting Without a Permit.

On Thursday, July 25, at 1:42 a.m. at Medina Rd. and County Rd. 24, Matthew Everett Blomberg, 18, of Plymouth was arrested for DWI, charges pending test results.

On Thursday, July 25, at 1:06 p.m. on the 100 block of Railway St. W, Loretto, Christopher Charles Campion, 33, of Medina was arrested and transported to the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center for Damage to Property and Disorderly Conduct.

On Friday, July 26, at 11:57 at Hackamore Ln. and Medina Lake Dr., Mikenna Lee Doering, 22, of Waverly was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .19.

On Saturday, July 27, at 5:37 p.m. on the 100 block of Spur Cr., Derius Montez Jones, 24, of Memphis, TN was arrested and booked into the Hennepin County Jail for Soliciting Without a Permit.

On Sunday, July 28, at 1:48 a.m. at Brockton Lane and Navajo Rd., Jack Ryan Mallaro, 19, of Medina was issued a citation for Underage Consumption and Possession of Alcohol.

Benjamin Matthew Steffens, 19, was cited for Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Theft

On Thursday, July 25, at 3:09 p.m. on the 3100 block of Butternut Dr., there was a report of a stolen dishwasher from a home under construction.

On Friday, July 26, at 1:49 p.m. on the 3900 block of Linden Ct., there was a report of a stolen Glock 9mm handgun form a residence.

Other

On Monday, July 22, at 1:52 a.m. at County Rd. 101 and Hackamore Rd., officer located a woman walking.  She said she had an argument with her boyfriend. Officer transported the female to he residence.

On Monday, July 22, at 3:46 a.m. at Chippewa Rd. and Willow Dr., a loose cow was led back to pasture.

On Monday, July 22, at 5:25 p.m. on the 4600 block of Highway 55, officers responded to a reported family dispute. Reporting party was asking that the female leave. The female was gone upon arrival.

On Tuesday, July 23, at 7:03 a.m. on the 2600 block of Bobolink Rd., there was a report of a suspicious driver. The driver was located and found to be a contractor doing some work on a home.

On Tuesday, July 23, at 9:15 a.m. at County Rd. 24 and Parkview Dr., there was a 911 hang-up, possibly from a cell phone. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

On Tuesday, July 23, at 12:33 p.m. on the 700 block of Highway 55, officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call at the Dairy Queen. While en route, officer was able to make contact with a manager.  The manager stated that he was calling to get assistance with a vehicle lockout, however hit the emergency button by mistake. Vehicle was unlocked.

On Wednesday, July 24, at 9:01 a.m. on the 600 block of Hamel Rd., officer responded to a call of a house fire. While en route dispatch advised that it may be related to a bottle cap in the microwave. Upon arrival with the Hamel Fire Department, a piece of rubber was discovered in the toaster causing smoke.

On Wednesday, July 24, at 4:17 p.m. on the 100 block of Hamel Rd., a $5 counterfeit bill was received.  The bill was forwarded to the US Secret Service.

On Wednesday, July 24, at 9:37 p.m. at Pioneer Tr. at the railroad tracks, there was a report of a man sitting on the tracks with a dog. Officer was able to locate the individual walking home.

On Saturday, July 27, at 12:56 a.m. on the 300 block of Medina St., Loretto, there was a report of loud music coming form the bar’s deck. The deck area was quiet upon officer arrival.

On Saturday, July 27, at 3:31 p.m. on the 2000 block of Hamel Rd., it was reported that shots had been heard. No problems were found.
