The Champlin City Council will meet Monday, Aug. 12, in the council chambers.
There will be a Economic Development Authority work session at 6:15 p.m. in the Mayor and Council Conference Room. On the agenda is reviewing a request for proposal solicitation for Mississippi Crossings.
The council will convene at 7 p.m. Under special presentations, the council will recognize Rep. Mark Uglem as a 2013 League of Minnesota Cities Legislator of Distinction, presentation of annual financial report, presentation of certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting and overview of work session discussion. The consent agenda includes: authorizing preparation of final plans and specifications for Elm Creek Dam, accepting the bid and awarding the contract for 2013 pavement markings and accepting the bid and awarding the contract for White Oaks Trail. New business includes bids for Reynolds Park Project and the first reading of an ordinance rezoning and resolution approving the preliminary plat for Prairie Meadows.
