Arrests and citations

On Friday, July 19, at 2:15 a.m. at County Rd. 101 and Lilac Dr., Tyler Michael Geisen, 22, of Greenfield was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .20.

Theft

On Friday, July 19, at 3:07 p.m. on the 500 block of Bluebell Tr., there was a report of landscape boulders being taken from a vacant lot.

On Friday, July 19, at 4:37 p.m. on at Ardmore Ave. and Pine St., two stop signs were reported missing.

Other

On Monday, July 15, at 2:34 a.m. at Brockton Lane and Hamel Road, two juvenile males were found biking and transported to the residence of one. Officer spoke to parent.

On Tuesday, July 16, at 10:16 p.m. on the 300 block of Cherry Ln., it was reported that a male with a flashlight was looking into a vehicle. The area was checked and nothing suspicious was found.

On Thursday, July 18, at 9:12 a.m. on the 100 block of County Rd. 24, a vehicle was successfully unlocked with no damage.

On Friday, July 19, at 6:33 p.m. on the 800 block of Hwy. 55, a 43-year old male was escorted from McDonald’s. The male was intoxicated and was reported to have made inappropriate remarks.

On Saturday, July 20, at 4:24 p.m. on the 4700 block of Settlers Court, there was a report of an unwanted solicitor going door-to-door in the area. The solicitor was not located and there were no other calls.

On Saturday, July 20, at 4:47 p.m. on the 300 block of Lorenzo St., Loretto, a 17-year old juvenile from Greenfield was involved with tampering with a motor vehicle. The homeowner does not want the juvenile at his residence or place of business. The juvenile was trespassed from the property and the case forwarded to the Hennepin County Attorney’s office.

On Saturday, July 20, at 10:27 p.m. on the 300 block of Comanche Tr., there was a report of someone driving by and throwing a balloon at a house. There was not damage, but the caller asked that police call the occupants of the vehicle and tell them to stop the pranks.

On Sunday, July 21, at 10:50 a.m. On the 100 block of Medina St. N, Loretto, a caller requested an animal welfare check since it was unknown if a dog was left in an apartment. The caller’s son was able to get a view through a window blind and saw that the kennel was empty. I was believed that the dog was not there.

On Sunday, July 21, at 4:42 p.m. on the 2000 block of Hickory Dr., there was a report of a hit residential gas line. Fire department personnel remained on site until Centerpoint Energy arrived.

On Sunday, July 21, at 5:27 p.m. on the 4300 block of Hwy. 55, there was a gas drive-off. The driver was located by a Hennepin County Sheriff’s deputy and returned to pay.

On Sunday, July 21, at 5:27 p.m. on the 300 block of Ridge Cr., there was a report of a male and female going door-to-door soliciting. The two were located and stated that they were part of a 501c3 charity group called Graceful Hans and advised that they were not selling a product. They claim to tell their story and ask for donations to help youth. Officer read through city ordinances and did not believe that they fell into the soliciting category, but asked them to leave the city until their group notifies the city of their intentions.
