Hanover Fire and Rescue Department responded to a medical emergency Thursday, July 11, at 5:30 a.m. at the 11000 block of River View Rd. An adult male was having a medical problem. He was transported by an ambulance to a hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Saturday, July 13, at 10:01 p.m. at the 7000 block of County Rd. 33 in Rockford Township. An adult male was having internal bleeding. He was transported by ambulance to a hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Sunday, July 14, at 8:18 a.m. An adult male had passed out. He was transported by an ambulance to a hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Monday, July 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the 5000 block of Harff Rd. in Greenfield. An adult male was having severe flu like symptoms. He was transported by an ambulance to a hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Saturday, Aug. 3, at 8:13 a.m. at the 11000 block of Church St. An adult male was injured when a tree fell on him. After the tree was removed from on top of him he refused further assistance.

The department responded to a medical emergency Sunday, Aug. 4, at 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 10 in Corcoran. An adult female passed out while driving. She was conscious when responders arrived and was transported by an ambulance to a hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Sunday, Aug. 4, at 12:15 a.m. at the 500 block of Jansen Ave. in Rockford Township. An adult male sustained minor burns to his leg after slipping into his fire pit / bonfire. He was assessed on scene by Allina EMS.

Fire calls

The department responded to a fire call Friday, July 26, at 10:28 p.m. at the 3000 block of Hamline Ave. in Rockford Township.

The department responded mutual aid for the Rockford Fire Department for a structure fire. A Detached garage  and a house were on fire. Hanover provided an engine and Rescue with manpower. The department was on scene for about 3 hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The department reported a fire call Friday, July 26, at 6:24 p.m. at the 10000 block of Kalland Lane. The department responded to a grill on fire on the rear deck  of a house. The fire was quickly extinguished. There was some siding damage to the home.

The department reported a fire call Sunday, July 28, at 4:38 p.m. at the 6000 block of Willow Dr. in Corcoran. The department responded mutual aid for the Loretto Fire Department with an engine and two tankers for an attached garage / house fire. The fire had been knocked down by the Loretto Fire Department. Hanover and Hamel firefighters assisted with overhaul and ventilation. The cause of the fire is under investigation. the department was on scene for an hour and a half.
