NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Comptroller of the Currency, Central District Office, One Financial Place, 440 South LaSalle Street, Suite 2700, Chicago, IL 60605, for consent to merge Great Northern Bank, St. Michael, Minnesota into First American Bank, National Association, Hudson, Wisconsin. It is contemplated that the main offices and branch offices of the above-named banks will continue to operate upon consummation of the merger.
This notice is published pursuant to 12 USC 1828(c) and 12 CFR 5. Anyone may submit written comments on this application by August 17, 2013 to: Director of District Licensing, Central District Office, One Financial Place, 440 South LaSalle Street, Suite 2700, Chicago, IL 60605 or ce.licensing@occ.treas.gov.

Notice is given that an application for informal probate of the Decedent’s Will, dated May 23, 2011, (“Will”), has been filed with the Registrar. The application has been granted.
Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Rodney J. Carlson, whose address is 10464 Yukon St NW, Coon Rapids, MN, 55443, as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minn. Stat. 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.
Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minn. Stat. 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
CROW RIVER EROSION
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
COLD WATER CREEK DEVELOPMENT AREA
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of St. Michael will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 11800 Town Center Drive NE, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as time permits, on August 27, 2013, to consider and possibly adopt, the proposed assessment for the improvement of erosion repair along the Crow River in the Cold Water Creek Development lots 23-32, and includes the improvement of river bank erosion improvements, plantings, turf establishment, restoration, and all necessary appurtenances pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended).
The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is properties adjacent to the above described project area and located within the Cold Water Creek Addition in Section 13, Township 120, Range 24.

The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection at the office of the city clerk. The total amount of the proposed assessment is $14,012.10. Written or oral objections will be considered at the hearing. Following the hearing, the Council will decide whether any adjustments in the roll are necessary and will, by resolution, adopt the roll. The City has adopted an income-based assessment deferral policy for senior citizens and disabled people. Copies of the policy are available at the office of the city clerk.
An appeal to district court may be made by serving notice upon the mayor or clerk of the city within 30 days after adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten days after service upon the mayor or clerk. No such appeal as to the amount of an assessment to a specific parcel of land may be made unless the owner has either filed a signed written objection to that assessment with the city clerk prior to the hearing or has presented the written objection to the presiding officer at the meeting.
