The Hamel Rodeo celebrated its 33rd year, July 11 to 14, with performances at Corcoran Lions Park. Volunteers from five community organizations engineered the traditional weekend which included Family Day on Saturday. Proceeds will be shared by the five groups — the Hamel Lions Club, Hamel Athletic Club, Hamel Volunteer Fire Department, Heinzen-Ditter VFW Post and John Pohlker American Legion Post. Here are some scenes from the Family Day performance and kids’ activities. (Photos by Bill Nord)
