Monday, July 1

Caleb Carl Burney, 25, was cited for expired tabs and no insurance at Industrial Boulevard and Veit Place.

A two car injury crash was reported at 10:38 a.m. at Main Street and John Milless Dr. Cited was Edward Robert Gallegos, 22.

Officers were dispatched to a possible assault occurring at 21451 South Diamond Lake Rd., suspect had left the area. Officers contacted a male and female at the business who reported a verbal dispute ensued between the female and suspect driver. Basically the two were kicked out of the car. Officers learned both the male and female were in possession of three counterfeit $100 bills each. Janeen Alicia Campbell, 24 and Tristan Ronald Watts, 23, were arrested for that offense and booked into Hennepin County Jail. The case has been referred to the Hennepin County Detectives.

Tuesday, July 2

Physical domestic at 13700 block of Dorothy Dr. involving a brother and sister with the allegations that the brother twisted the females wrist causing her to go to the ground. Allegations also included that the male half had been drinking. Party refused medical attention and was self treating her injuries with an ice pack. Males residence was checked with no lights, movement, or contact made or identified. Male half was left a voicemail on his cell phone to return my call, but has not yet done so. Local bars and establishments were also checked with no sign of him or his vehicle.

Wednesday, July 3

Female walked into Rogers Police Department to report her Ford F150 pickup stolen from the driveway of 14255 Jodis Drive. The registered owner stated she had left it at her brother’s residence for approximately 3 weeks. She said her brother notified her it had been stolen this morning, but advised her it had been missing since Monday (July 1). A motorized theft report was completed and the vehicle was entered as stolen by Rogers PD.

Received an anonymous report of an order for protection violation at residence. Officers confirmed that a valid OFP was in effect. Officers checked the residence and did not locate the suspect. A babysitter said that the suspect left with the OFP’s petitioner. An officer located the petitioner’s vehicle and stopped it. Matthew Richard Kaiser, 26, was arrested and booked into the Hennepin County Jail.

Dispatched to store at 21985 South Diamond Lake Rd. on a report of possible shoplifters. Asset protection watched suspects enter store, walk around, and fill bags with items. Asset protection called to have an officer in the area in case the suspects fled. Officers arrived in area, and suspects fled the store. Officers stopped the suspects and arrested them for Gross Misdemeanor theft. The suspect vehicle driver was arrested for Gross Misdemeanor Aid & Abet Theft. Arrested were Malaika Renee Sanford, 18; Phyllis Elaine Osby, 19; and Christina Marie Johnson, 24. Hennepin County detectives were notified. The vehicle was towed to the Rogers Police Department and placed in the garage. Detectives were going to draft a warrant July 4.

Thursday, July 4

Officer responded to a vehicle stalled at County Road 81 and Brockton Lane. Officer located the vehicle at a gas station in Dayton. Ryan Matthew Gyuro, 29, was cited for no Minnesota driver’s license and no proof insurance and drug paraphernalia.

Officer was dispatched to a property damage hit and run accident at the intersection of Main Street / South Diamond Lake Road. Suspect vehicle was observed south on Main Street, and stopped as it entered onto west Interstate 94. Debra Lee Hirsch, 57, was cited and the vehicle was impounded.

Officers were dispatched to vehicle fire on east Interstate 94, near the 141st Avenue overpass. Officer arrived and found occupants had extinguished the fire. Occupants stated a passerby stopped and provided them a fire extinguisher to use. Rogers Fire extinguished smoldering boards in box. Ernest Demontre Hale, 20, was issued citation as a result of the incident.

Friday, July 5

Victim called to report being bitten by a dog residing at 12792 Gray Fox Trail 07-04-13 at approximately 5:15 p.m. The attack occurred on a public trail adjacent to the property and was witnessed by the dog owner. The dog was confirmed current on vaccinations as the victim called the dog’s veterinarian. Initial report will be forwarded to the animal control officer for a 10 day followup.

Driver and vehicle was seen running a red light which caused a property damage auto crash at Main Street and South Diamond Lake Road. Party was arrested and booked on 4th degree DWI, possession of a small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle, and no motor vehicle insurance. Additional charges possible. Second party cited was a passenger in a motor vehicle involved in an accident. Party took ownership and pointed out narcotics that were in the are in front of where he was sitting, after his Dad (the driver) was arrested. Party was cited for small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle. Vehicle that was stopped for a crash had 3 occupants inside. Party inside the right rear was not wearing his seatbelt and admitted to not wearing it. Citation will be mailed, which party was advised could happen. Cited were Peter Alan Garrison, 29, and Kurt Glen Knopik, 29.

Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute between a male and his parents as he was holding a knife at the time of the call. An Officer arrived and mediated between the parents and son. The decision to put the male on a emergency admission hold was made as he was transported to Maple Grove Hospital by North Memorial Ambulance.

Saturday, July 6

Traffic complaint on a vehicle for speeding and for driving all over the road at Main Street and I-94. Vehicle observed at 48 mph in a posted 40 mph zone on squad radar. Officer stopped vehicle and lone occupant/Driver was found inside to be intoxicated. Severin Anthony Molitory, 30, was arrested and Tab charged at Hennepin county Jail on a 4th Degree DWI, after providing a test result BAC of .16.

A group conducting a fundraising car wash for a church mission trip was closed down by Rogers Police citing public safety concerns. The group was contacted twice earlier and continued with the conduct they were advised against. That included multiple people jumping up and down waving signs into oncoming traffic, soliciting money from passing motorists while walking into traffic lanes and crossing the roadways not at intersections. Management at Culvers was advised and supported the close down. Culvers was not affiliated with the non-profit and had allowed the group to conduct the fundraiser once a year.

A male reported finding a chocolate lab in the area of Hassan Elementary School. The dog does not have tags. Monticello Animal Hospital was closed. The male will keep the dog for the evening only.

Sunday, July 7

Officer assisted Minnesota State Patrol with a hit and run crash on Interstate 94 near Highway 241. Wright County Sheriffs Office assisted with locating suspect. Cited was Ryan Lee Bristlin, 35.
