The Champlin City Council will meet Monday, July 9, in the council chambers.
There will be a council work session at 5:45 p.m. in the Mayor and Council Conference Room. On the agenda is United Properties- Applewood Senior Cooperative with Brian Kerry.
The council will convene at 7 p.m. Under special presentations, the council will overview the work session discussion. The consent agenda includes: alcohol use permit for Clive’s Roadhouse, purchase and installation of new ice forum scoreboard, resolution concerning the commencement of renewal proceedings under the Federal Cable Act and jurisdiction transfer agreement. New business includes approving a conditional use permit to construct a three-season porch in the Mississippi River Critical Area, 11632 Mississippi Drive, by Bill and Becky Carter. There will be an administrative presentation of the 2012 annual Water Quality Report.
The Economic Development Authority (EDA) will meet immediately following the council meeting. The EDA will consider the Mississippi Crossings Phase 1 (land uses and budgets).
