Monday, June 24

Officer was dispatched to meet a manager of Park Place Self Storage at the business. They had been alerted by a customer of a break in of their storage unit. While on scene, officer and management discovered 15 separate units had the lock hasps compromised. Officer has information on lessees and is contacting them to determine loss. It appears the suspect(s) gained access by cutting through the S perimeter fence.

Officer located a suspect vehicle in a gas drive off, driver was determined to have a revoked license. He was allowed to make arrangements to pay on the fuel he “forgot” to pay for. Patrick Thomas Schultz, 23, was cited for driving after revocation.

Tuesday, June 25

Ike Kenneth Sowder, 31, was cited for small amount of marijuana at South Diamond Lake Road and Northdale Boulevard.

Wednesday, June 26

Officer received a call of a asphalt driveway job that was completed and the reporting party states after checking the person he has been involved in scams. Party made a verbal agreement with the male who was driving a red Ford Truck, unknown license plates and no company name. Party advised the guy came to their residence on June 24 at approximately 1900 hours and stated he had extra asphalt and was wondering if she wanted her driveway done for $1,000 and she agreed without any contract or receipt. Job was completed that night and she was worried he might get others on this. Advised to call if she sees the vehicle or sees them working in the area.

Sandra Lucia Lojano Chavez, 27, was cited for driving after suspension after a traffic crash at Main Street and 141st Avenue.

Officer received a call from a resident on Territorial Road who fired someone from a business in St. Paul. The ex-employee is now calling the resident’s home making threats. The resident did not want any action taken other than for police to tell him to stop.

Officers were dispatched to AmericInn, 21800 Industrial Boulevard, on a report of a man having a psychotic episode. The man was supposedly under the influence of marijuana laced with another drug. The man was last seen throwing dirt from a landscape area next to the motel. Officers found the man, and the man asked to be transported to the hospital. North Memorial Ambulance arrived and transported the man to North Memorial in Robbinsdale.

Thursday, June 27

Assisted Minnesota State Patrol and Dayton Police Department on multiple injury accident on Interstate 94, in area of mile marker 211. Patients transported by two helicopters and ambulances to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. Interstate 94 was shut down between Maple Grove Parkway and Highway 101 in Rogers, to allow for reconstruction of scene by Minnesota State Patrol. The accident is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol. Agencies that responded to call included: Minnesota State Patrol, North Ambulance, Rogers Police Department, Rogers Fire Department, Dayton Police Department, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and Maple Grove Police Department.

Dispatched to a shoplifter in custody at 20200 Rogers Dr. The suspect removed the tags from two $99.99 North Face items and replaced them with tags from less expensive items. Briana Marie Barg, 34, was cited and released.

Friday, June 28

Brian Joseph Mastel, 35, was cited for drug paraphernalia at Main Street and 147th Avenue.

Darryl Antwan Hall, 34, was cited for gross misdemeanor warrant for Fridley Police Department, at 2000 South Diamond Lake Rd.

Officers received a call of a suicidal male subject who was staying at the Super 8 Motel in Rogers. The reporting party said that the man had been drinking and took a whole bottle of prescription pain medicine. Officers met the subject in his motel room and found that he was intoxicated and admitted to taking some of the pills. The man was transported to North Memorial Hospital on Robbinsdale on an emergency hold.

Saturday, June 29

Officer stopped vehicle for speed. Driver failed standardized field sobriety tests and preliminary breath test (.114). Carrie Renee Broenen, 53, was arrested for DWI and was booked into the Hennepin County Jail.

White female with black male driver stole several clothing items from Cabela’s and left area in a black Cadillac. Theft still under investigation.

Driver failed standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI at County Rd. 81 and Troy Lane. The vehicle was parked on the shoulder and not a traffic hazard. Driver was transported to the Rogers Police Department. Driver agreed to take a breath test, which showed a Blood Alcohol Content of .15. Erika Gene Cruce, 25, was booked in the Hennepin County Jail.

Sunday, June 30

Officers responded to a medical at the Hampton Inn on a report of a man who fell, hit his head, and was unconscious. Officers gave oxygen and were able to wake the man up. The man was extremely intoxicated. North Memorial Paramedics arrived and transported him to Maple Grove Hospital. Family members were present and the man’s wife rode with the ambulance to the hospital.

Bonnie Lavonne Osburn, 51, was cited for driving while texting at Main Street and I-94.
