Sen. John Hoffman, DFL-Champlin, has announced a sticker design contest to celebrate A Night to Unite (also known as National Night Out), which is Tuesday, Aug. 6.
Entries in the contest should colorfully illustrate how communities are stronger when police, firefighters and neighbors work together to keep everyone safe. Pictures must be on a 3-by-5-inch note card. The deadline is Thursday, July 11.
The winning sticker artist and a family member will receive a personal Minnesota State Capitol tour and lunch with Hoffman. Hoffman will hand out the winning sticker during A Night to Unite festivities.
A Night to Unite is a designed for neighbors and local safety officials to raise crime prevention awareness and build a stronger community.
