The Osseo Marching Band is off to a fast and furious start, wowing crowds across the state of Minnesota and the upper Midwest. The Marching Orioles kicked off the season with a first place finish in Mason City, Iowa then claimed the top prize in the Champlin Father Hennepin Days Festival. After a great week of practice, they traveled to the Princeton Rum River Festival where they again won first place in their division and received the top Colorguard Caption Award. The Orioles wrapped up the first half of the season at the Harry Wenger Marching Band Classic where they stepped it up another notch. They again brought home the first place trophy and 3 of the 5 caption awards: Best Marching and Maneuvering, Best Drum Major and Best Colorguard. The Osseo Marching Band finishes off the season traveling to Milaca, St. James, Osseo, Lake City and Maple Grove.
