Monday, June 10

Officer dispatched to a theft report at 14320 JAMES RD. Manager reported a 2012 Dodge Ram Pickup Box, white in color, was removed from a pallet stand in the SE parking lot. Also missing a rear bumper that was in the box bed. Suspect(s) appeared to have tampered with a large spool located near the building as well. Incident occurred sometime over the weekend. Estimated loss $2K.

Tuesday, June 11

Officers responded to attempt a misdemeanor Anoka County warrant at 19511 Prairieview Dr. Upon arrival, officers located the subject at the residence. Arrested was Michael Earl Nelson, 50.

Officer located a male at the residence with an outstanding Wright County warrant at 13058 Gray Fox Trail. Jon Frederick Berscheid, 52, was taken into custody and transferred to a Wright County Deputy.

Vehicle made an unsafe U-turn and then suspiciously drove slowly around the Rogers Police Department parking lot with the driver appearing lost. Contact was made and the party was identified as intoxicated. Anthony Daniel Ruberto, 37, was arrested on a 4th Degree DWI charge and was Booked/Tab charged at Hennepin County Jail on this offense.

Wednesday, June 12

Reporting party called to make sure that her daughter was still listed in NCIC as a runaway. The case was sent to Hennepin County Detectives for follow-up. To date, the Rogers Police Department has not had any contact with the girl.

Driver lost wallet out window and stopped to retrieve; pulling off roadway at interchange of south Highway 101 to east Interstate 94. Vehicle began to slide in mud down embankment, so driver contacted roadside assistance to pull out the vehicle rather than risk damage to it. Stood by until All Wheels Recovery arrived and pulled vehicle from embankment.

Thursday, June 13

Agency assist with Dayton PD on a Domestic Assault stabbing at 42 Crestwood Dr. in Dayton. Transported Daniel Robert Warner, 25, to Hennepin County Jail.

Robert Scott McChesney, 31, was cited for Inattentive Driving after causing four car property damage auto crash at Hwy. 101 and I-94.

Reporting party was oiling the chain on his motorcycle when his right thumb got caught in the chain. The tip of the thumb was torn off. The reporting party declined ambulance transportation and his wife drove him to the hospital.

Jeremy James Overold, 32, was cited for driving after suspension/seatbelt citation at I-94.

Friday, June 14

Officers responded to a personal injury auto crash on Main Street southbound south of 141st Avenue North. Jissel Olaez Juarez, 20, was arrested for DWI and the passenger, Kailee Jo Kuznia, 20, is being mailed a citation for underage consumption and open bottle. Driver and passenger had minor injuries to their face and hands from glass breaking when a sign broke through the windshield and stopped just above the passengers head.

William Leslie Roemer, 43, was cited for expired license at 134th Avenue and Rogers Drive.

Saturday, June 15

Driver from a traffic stop was arrested for driving after cancelled inimical to public safety. James Leaman, 27, is also being charged with giving false or fictitious name and failure to signal lane change.

Andrew John Mindermann, 18, was cited for shoplifting at 20200 Rogers Dr.

Sunday, June 16

Driver stopped for Foss Law violation and unlit license license plate at South Diamond Lake Road and Main Street. , Jonel Javier Romero Miquilena, 40, was cited for no Minnesota driver s license and Foss Law violation. Driver verbal warned for unlit license plate and no current proof of insurance. Insurance policy was verified. Passenger was valid and drove vehicle from the scene.

Rogers Officer responded to assist Dayton PD on a personal injury accident involving a motorcyclist with head injury, at County Rd. 81/113th Ave. Officer arrived on scene and observed a woman laying in the roadway on 113th Ave with blood coming from her nose, mouth, and a bump on her right temple area. The woman was conscious and alert and no other injuries were identified. Officer put a C-collar on the patient with the help of another first responder and stabilized the patient’s head until paramedics arrived. The woman was transported to Maple Grove Hospital by Allina ambulance.

Officers were dispatched to a no pay at a bar at 21390 John Milless Dr. Officers located the male and determined he was intoxicated and unable to care for himself. Officer transported the male to detox after he paid his tab

Officers responded to Applebees on a report of a drunk man in the restaurant being loud. Employees reported that the man was swearing at employees and refused to leave after being asked several times. Officer found that the man was extremely intoxicated and and appeared to be having mental/emotional problems. Officer escorted the man outside and North ambulance was called to the scene. The man was transported to Mercy Hospital for evaluation and an emergency hold was signed. A loaded handgun was recovered from the man’s vehicle and was stored in evidence for safekeeping.
