Wright County Attorney’s report

The following is a list of some of the sentencing by the Wright County Court for the week of June 3:

Robert John Boutin, 44, of DELANO was sentenced June 7 for probation violations for felony controlled substance crime in the fifth degree to four days jail. Sentenced by Judge Davis.

Joel Robert Coquyt, 51, of ST. MICHAEL was sentenced may 29 for misdemeanor disorderly conduct to 90 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, undergo counseling and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Brian Charles Grote, 26, of ALBERTVILLE was sentenced May 30 for gross misdemeanor second degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 350 days, $2,500 stayed for three years on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, complete a Level II driving program and follow all recommendations, attend awareness panel for impaired drivers, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, serve 30 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Eric Tyler Mortensen, 24, of ROGERS was sentenced May 31 for felony stalking to 42 months prison, pay $50 fine plus surcharges, provide DNA sample. Sentenced for felony stalking to 38 months prison, concurrent, pay $50 fine plus surcharges. Sentenced for felony violation of no contact order to 27 months prison, concurrent, pay $50 fine plus surcharges, pay restitution. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Brendon Lawrence Nickless, 21, of DELANO was sentenced May 31 for probation violations for gross misdemeanor receiving stolen property to 30 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.
