The Hanover Fire and Rescue Department responded to a medical emergency Monday, June 3, at 1 p.m. at the 500 block of Kadler Ave. in Hanover. An adult female passed out. She was transported by ambulance to a hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Tuesday, June 4, at 4:19 p.m. at the 900 block of Hansack Ave. in Rockford Township. An adult male had dislocated his hip. He was transported by ambulance to a hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Wednesday, June 5, at 12:11 a.m. at the  the 300 block of Jandel Ave Ne in Hanover. And adult female was having difficulty breathing. She was transported by ambulance to a hospital.

The department responded to a medical emergency Sunday, June 9, at 6:22 a.m. at the 28000 block of 109th Ave. in Hanover. An adult female was having seizures. She was transported by ambulance to a hospital.

Fire calls

The department reported a fire call Wednesday, June 5, at 3:10 p.m. at the 8000 block of Grace Lane in Greenfield. The department responded to a reported shed fire. Upon arrival found a large pile of debris on fire next to some outbuildings and also threatening two large propane tanks. The fire was extinguished and the person who lit the fire was given a citation for illegal burning by the Hennepin County  Sheriff. The department was on scene about one hour.

Burn permit

The Hanover Fire Department wishes to remind everyone that use must obtain a burn permit for any burning larger than a recreational fire ( 3 feet by 3 feet). You may only burn NATURAL materials. Any other burning requires special permits.
