Rockford Library gears up for summer with fun events

The Rockford Public Library is offering the following programs to get summer off to great start:

Kick-off to Summer

On Monday, June 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. the Rockford Public Library is hosting a “Kick-off to Summer” event. Enjoy summer time treats, meet Rockford Royalty and work on crafts, Children and teens up to 18 years of age can sign up for the Summer Reading Program.



People of all ages are invited to enjoy “Heebie Jeebies,” a family comedy and music show with Glen Everhart on Wednesday, June 12, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Great River Regional Library (GRRL) provides library services at 32 public libraries in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd and Wright Counties. It provides Central Minnesota residents with nearly 1 million books, CDs and DVDs, 250 public computers, programming and information services.

The Rockford Public Library is open Mondays and Tuesdays from. 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 3 to 8 p.m., Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
