Osseo sprinters head to state track

A group of sprinters will represent Osseo High at the state track and field meet at Hamline University this Friday and Saturday.



Two Osseo sprinter relays captured section titles to qualify for state.

The 4×200 relay of Fawaz Oba, Leo Wiagbe, Prince Kruah and Gabe Galamue won in 1:29.60.

The 4X400 team of Oba, Kruah, Galamue and Joshue Kolmene took first place in 3:25.21.



Senior Phillis Webb will be the only Oriole representative from the girls’ squad. Webb qualified for all three individual sprint events. She swept first places in the 200 (24.84) and 400 (57.20) and ran second in the 100 in 12.07.
