Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from May 22 through May 30, 2013.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 32-year-old Osseo man on a outstanding misdemeanor Hennepin County warrant on May 25 on the 200 block of Sixth Street N.W. The male was able to post bail and was released with a court date.

Osseo Police arrested a 22-year-old Minneapolis woman on the 10300 block of County Road 81 on May 26 for fourth degree DWI. Her vehicle was impounded and she was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

While working a Safe and Sober seatbelt saturation detail on May 29, Osseo Police arrested a 22-year-old Otsego man driving a stolen vehicle. He was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 18-year-old Maple Grove man for criminal damage to property on May 30 on the 200 block of Third Avenue N.E. The same suspect is also under investigation for other damage to property cases in Osseo.

Incidents:

Vandalism to a business was reported on May 22 on the 300 block of County Road 81. There are no suspects.

Vandalism to a business was reported on May 22 on the 100 block of Broadway Street N.E. There are no suspects.

A harassment report was filed on May 23 on the 200 block of Central Avenue. The incident was mediated by Osseo Police. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to an audible intrusion alarm on the 100 block of County Road 81 on May 26. The alarm was false. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a loud music complaint on the 600 block of Third Avenue N.W. on May 26. Contact was made with the resident and advised. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a audible intrusion alarm at a business on the 8700 block of Jefferson Hwy. on May 27. The alarm was accidently tripped by a cleaner. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to a verbal dispute on May 28 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The incident was mediated by police. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police took an assault report on May 28 from a business on the 200 block of Fourth Avenue S.E. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to an audible intrusion alarm at a business on the 200 block of Central Avenue on May 30. No problems were found.

Osseo Police responded to a disturbance on the 100 block of Second Avenue S.E. on May 30. Police mediated the situation and no charges are pending.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to the 100 block of Second Avenue N.E. on May 24 for a 90-year-old male that had fallen. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 800 block of Third Street N.E. on May 26 for a 56-year-old woman having diabetic issues. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage on May 22 in the parking lot of the Osseo Junior High School. A state accident report was filed. One driver was issued a citation.

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident on the 100 block of Central Avenue on May 25. A state accident report was filed. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident on the 600 block of Central Avenue on May 28. A state accident report was filed. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
