Hanover Fire and Rescue Department responded to a medical emergency Friday, May 3, at 8:23 a.m. at the 11000 block of Riverview Rd. An adult Male was having a possible stroke. He was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
The department responded to a medical emergency Tuesday, May 21, at 8:51 p.m. at the 900 Block of Hansack Ave Se in Rockford Twp. An adult male had a hip injury. He was transported by ambulance to a hospital.
The department reported a fire call Thursday, May 2, at 5:27 p.m. at the area of South Diamond Lake Rd in Dayton. The department responded with two tankers to a mutual aid request for the Dayton Fire Department. A large of amount of rubbish, vehicles and outbuildings at a farm were on fire. The department was on scene for about three and a half hours.
The department reported a fire call Sunday, May 5, at 10:56 p.m. at the 10,000 block of Bebe Lake Road in Hanover. The department responded to a report of a shed on fire. Upon arrival, it was found that a small shed used as a chicken coop was on fire. The shed was heavily damaged by fire. Preliminary cause appears to be a heating lamp.
The department responded to a mutual aid request Friday, May 31, at 10:55 p.m. at the 100 block of Beach Dr. in Rockford. The department responded mutual aid at the request of the Rockford Fire Department to assist with a search for a missing child. The child was found safe and unhurt. The department was on scene for about an hour and a half.
