Dolores (Rahn) Witt died May 21, 2013 after a brief illness at Guardian Angels Care Center, in Elk River. She was a lifetime member of the Champlin American Legion Auxiliary Unit 600, two-time Past President as well as taking numerous other offices and being a constant volunteer for children and youth parties, steak fries, omelet breakfast and fish fries. She also was a lifetime member of the Coon Rapids VFW Auxiliary #9625 and a member of the 40 & 8 Cabane 390.
She is survived by her children Danny (Deb), daughter Barb (Dan) Donohue; Grandchildren Shellie (Scott) Wilson, Joshua and James Curtis, Marty (Julie) Witt, Matt Witt, Joe (Debra) Donohue; Great Grandchildren Gabrielle and Kalliann Wilson, Devin and Ava Witt.; Sister, Bonnie Backlund, brothers Donald (Donna) Rahn, Leonard (Donna Jean), Robert (Dolly), David (Rose): Special Friend Morrie Dahlheimer. Preceded in death by Clarence “Sonny” infant daughter Patricia; infant son Douglas; granddaughter Jana Curtis.
Anyone who knew Dolores loved her. Her smile was contagious. She will be greatly missed by many.
Funeral Services for Dolores (Rahn) Witt will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, in Ramsey. Visitation will begin one hour before. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, in Nowthen.
