Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from May 3 through May 21, 2013.

Arrests:

Osseo Police responded to a domestic assault on May 6 on the 100 block of Seventh Ave. S.E. and arrested a 46-year-old Osseo woman for misdemeanor fifth degree domestic assault. She was booked at the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis.

A 21-year-old Champlin man was arrested at Central Avenue and County Road 81 on May 11 for misdemeanor fourth degree DWI and gross misdemeanor third degree test refusal. He was booked at the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis.

A 28-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested on the 400 block of County Road 81 on May 12 for felony first degree DWI, felony alcohol concentration over .08, and gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation. His vehicle is being held for forfeiture and he was booked at the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis.

A 25-year-old Andover man was arrested for misdemeanor fourth degree DWI on May 15. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

A 29-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested for misdemeanor violation of an order for protection on May 21. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department

Incidents:

A report of damage to property was reported at a business on May 4 on the 50 block of Second Street N.E. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 100 block of First Ave. N.E. on May 5. Police were able to mediate the situation and no charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a audible burglar alarm sounding at a closed business on the 300 block of County Road 81 on May 5. An unsecure door was found and the building was searched. No problems were found and a key holder responded and locked the door.

Osseo Police responded to a intoxicated person causing a disturbance on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. on May 5. The intoxicated person was sent to North Memorial Hospital on a health and welfare hold. There are no charges pending.

A theft of a wallet was reported on May 6 at a business on the 400 block of County Road 81. The case is under investigation by the Hennepin County Detectives.

Osseo Policed responded to trespassing complaint on May 7 at a business on the 300 block of Central Avenue. The subject was very intoxicated and was transported to Special Care at Hennepin County Medical Center by Osseo Police.

Osseo Police responded to an audible intrusion alarm on May 8 at a business on the 100 block of County Road 81. The alarm was accidently set off by an employee.

Osseo Police responded to an assault on May 9 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. One party involved was transported to the hospital on a health and welfare hold. The case is under investigation.

Osseo Police responded to a verbal domestic on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on May 11. The incident was mediated by police.  There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to a possible burglary in progress at a business on the 200 block of County Road 81 on May 13. A search of the building was done by Hennepin County K9 Unit and the Osseo Police. It was determined the door to the business was accidently left open after closing and no burglary occurred.

Osseo Police responded to a domestic on May 14 on the 100 block of Eighth Ave. N.E. Police were able to mediate the situation. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police responded to an intoxicated person causing a disturbance on the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. on May 15. He was transported home and released to the care of a responsible adult family member.

A garage burglary was reported on May 17 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. There are no suspects. The case is under investigation.

Vandalism was reported on May 18 on the 300 block of Sixth Ave. N.E. There are no suspects.

A 911 hang up call was reported on May 21 on the 600 block of Central Ave. Responding officers found no problems.

Osseo Police responded to a dispute on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on May 21. The incident was mediated by Osseo Police. There are no charges pending.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a report of a 81-year-old male having a possible heart attack on the 100 block of Fifth Ave. N.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 15-year-old female in pain on May 7 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an infant child possibly choking on May 8 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The obstruction was cleared and the child was not transported to the hospital.

Osseo Police responded to an 65-year-old female with severe back pain on May 9 on the 100 block of Seventh Ave. S.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 89-year-old male that feel on May 9 on the 600 block of First Ave. N.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 95-year-old female that tripped on a rug and fell down on the May 13 on the 400 block of Second Ave. N.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 86-year-old that fell down on the 100 block of Central Avenue on May 14. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 20-year-old male having insulin problems on May 20. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

A two-car property damage accident was reported on May 4 on the 300 block of Central Ave. Both drivers exchanged information. There are no charges pending.
