Students from North View Junior High School were among District 279 junior high students to participate in the Model United Nations state-level competition this spring.

The junior and senior-level Model United Nations teams coached by North View Junior High humanities teacher, Nancy Ziemer, brought home several awards from state-level competitions this spring. Four North View students earned top honors in Best Position Paper and Best Delegation (World Health Organization), continuing North View’s record of wins in each of the last six years of competition. At the senior level, four students were tops in their respective categories: Lacy Myrman and Jolene Rotich from Park Center Senior High took Best Delegation (Security Council), while Park Center’s Adi Pidaparti and Maple Grove’s Anthony Bogachev took Best Delegation (World Health Organization).
