Champlin City Council will meet Monday, May 13 at city hall. They will hear an update regarding North Metro Mayors Association Joint Cooperative Purchasing Program by Joseph Strauss. There will also be a public hearing on the plans and specifications for the West River Road at Hayden Lake Road improvement project. Other new business includes: considering a resolution to appoint a responsible data practices authority assigning duties; resolution to consider providing for the sale of $4.3 million in capital improvement plan refunding bonds, Series 2013A; and reviewing a Vera Street concept plan.
Also on the consent agenda: Rescheduling the Monday, May 27 council meeting to Tuesday, May 28 due to Memorial Day; appointing new Parks Facility Manager; approving 2013-2015 police officers labor agreement; approving a temporary 3.2 malt liquor license for 2013 seasonal events; approve license application for the sale of consumer fireworks for TNT Fireworks; license application for the sale of consumer fireworks at Target; and ordering a public hering for NPDES Environmental Resources Commission Annual Report.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and is located in council chambers at Champlin City Hall, 11955 Champlin Drive, Champlin.
Council will hold a work session beginning at 5:45 p.m. prior to the regular council meeting.
