Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from April 19 through May 2, 2013.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 40-year-old female from Maple Grove on April 23 on the 100 block of Central Avenue for driving after revocation. She was issued a citation and released.

Osseo Police arrested a 34-year-old female from Columbia Heights on the 200 block of Central Avenue for driving after revocation on April 24. She was issued a citation and released.

Osseo Police arrested a 30-year-old female from Ramsey on April 24 for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI at County Road 81 and First Ave. N.W. She was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department and her vehicle was impounded.

A 21-year-old male and 22-year-old both from Coon Rapids were arrested on April 28 on Hwy. 169 after Osseo Police located narcotics in a motor vehicle while on a traffic stop. Both males were issued citations for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

Incidents:

Osseo Police found a unsecured door to a closed business on April 19 on Second Street N.E. No problems were found inside and the building was secured.

A bicycle was reported stolen from a open garage on the 50 block of Sixth Ave. N.E. on April 24. There are no suspects.

A threat was reported to Osseo Police on May 1 on the 100 block of Fourth Ave. N.E. The incident has been forwarded to the city prosecutor for possible criminal charges.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 86-year-old male having a possible stroke on the 50 block of Sixth Street N.E. on April 19. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 30-year-old female having a possible heart attack on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on April 20. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 66-year-old having trouble breathing at the Osseo American Legion on April 23. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a 90-year-old female having a possible heart attack on April 24 on the 50 block of Sixth Street N.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a person with severe leg pain on April 24 on the 100 block of Sixth Street N.W. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the Osseo High School on April 29 for a 15-year-old female with a sports related injury. She was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 95-year-old female that fell down and possibly broke her hip on the 600 block of Central Avenue on May 1. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

A two-car property damage accident was reported on April 22 on the 50 block of Third Street N.W. Both parties exchanged information and a state accident report was filed. No charges are pending.

A two-car property damage hit and run accident was reported on April 29 on the 8600 block of Jefferson Hwy. The suspect vehicle was located a short time later. The incident is under review by the city prosecutor for possible charges.
