Arrests and citations

On Saturday, April 20, at 2:54 p.m. on the 7500 block of Highway 55, Greenfield, Jeremie Robert Gounge, 24, of Rockford was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .13.

On Saturday, April 27, at 1:25 p.m. on the 2600 block of Bantle Farm Rd., a homeowner reported a grass fire. A brush fire had gotten out of control and there was no water source. The fire was extinguished by the Hamel and Loretto Fire Departments and a citation was issued to for failing to obtain a fire permit.


On Thursday, April 25, at 4:03 p.m. on the 3900 block of County Rd. 116, a catalytic converter and muffler were reported taken from a vehicle.

On Friday, April 26, at 8:21 p.m. on the 700 block of Highway 55, there as a gas drive-off. The vehicle’s plate did not match the description of the vehicle.


On Monday, April 15, at 1:15 p.m. on the 100 block of Railway St., Loretto, a vehicle was opened.

On Monday, April 15, at 3:01 p.m. on the 200 block of Lythrum Lane, there was an accidental 911 call.

On Thursday, April 18 at 12:38 p.m. on the 2400 block of Bobolink Rd., a resident reported a phone call scam.

On Friday, April 19, at 10:53 a.m. on the 3400 block of Elm Creek Drive, a vehicle was opened.

On Friday, April 19, at 12:47 p.m. on the 100 block of Hamel Rd., a seven-year old child was reported missing from her group. Parents returned to claim.

On Monday, April 22, at 10:55 a.m. on the 2100 block of Highway 55 there was a 911 call initiated from phone issues at a business.
