Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from April 5 through April 18, 2013.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 21-year-old Champlin man on April 10 on the 100 block of County Road 81 for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle. He was released from the scene with a citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 27-year-old Brooklyn Park man on April 13 on Elm Creek Parkway for an outstanding Hennepin County warrant. He as transported to the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 25-year-old St. Michael man on April 13 on the 500 block of Fourth Street N.E. for driving after revocation. He was issued a citation and released.

Osseo Police arrested a 30-year-old Burnsville man on April 13 on the 100 block of Central Avenue for a misdemeanor Hennepin County warrant. He was transported to the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 42-year-old Minneapolis man on April 15 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for a fourth degree DWI and fourth degree alcohol concentration over .08. His vehicle was impounded and he was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

Osseo Police arrested a 47-year-old Robbinsdale man on April 15 on the 100 block of County Road 81 for driving after revocation and no insurance. His vehicle was impounded and he was released with a citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 25-year-old Osseo man on April 16 on the 100 block of Seventh Avenue S.E. for violation of a domestic assault no contact order. He was arrested and booked at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 39-year-old Bayport man, a 35-year-old Plymouth man and a 26-year-old Wayzata woman for probable cause narcotics and also a 26-year-old Minneapolis man for probable cause narcotics and two felony probation violation warrants and fleeing police on foot after an Osseo Officer stopped a car for an equipment violation on the 500 block of First Avenue N.E. on April 17. The 26-year-old male suspect fled on foot from the traffic stop but was apprehended a few blocks away. All suspects were booked at the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis. The case is currently under investigation by the Osseo Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

A 28-year-old female from Monticello was arrested on April 17 on the 300 block of Central Avenue for driving after revocation, displaying plates that belong to another vehicle and failure to comply with a license plate administrative impoundment order. She was released with a citation and her vehicle was impounded.

Incidents:

Osseo Police responded to juveniles possibly fighting on the 500 block of Central Avenue on April 6. There are no criminal charges pending.

A theft report was taken on April 9 from the 50 block of Sixth Street N.W. The victim told police she was missing jewelry. The case is under investigation by the Osseo Police and the Hennepin County Detectives.

Osseo Police responded to Twin Cities Pawn on a possible forgery in progress on April 10. A suspect was identified and interviewed. The case is currently being investigated by the Osseo Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

A theft from auto was reported on April 11 on the 200 block of Fifth Avenue S.E. The victim reported electronics were stolen from inside the vehicle. The vehicle was processed by Hennepin County Crime Lab. The case is currently under investigation by Osseo Police and Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

Osseo Police responded to a family dispute on the April 12 on the 200 block of Fourth Avenue S.E. The incident was mediated by the Osseo Police. No charges are pending.

A loud party was reported on April 13 near E. Broadway Street and Fourth Avenue N.E. The host was told to keep the noise down. No charges are pending.

A theft of license plates was reported to Osseo Police on April 18 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The plates have been entered as stolen property into a nationwide database. There are no suspects.

Medicals:

Osseo police responded to a 57-year-old male that fell on April 6 on the 100 block of Regan Lane. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

A 57-year-old female reported having trouble breathing on April 5 on the 200 block of First Avenue N.W. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

A 58-year-old female reported leg pain on April 10 on the 400 block of Fifth Avenue after she fell down the day before. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 75-year-old male complaining of trouble breathing on the 200 block of Fourth Avenue N.E. on April 11. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

A 66-year-old male fell from a motorized wheel chair on the 500 block on April 11. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of a 78-year-old male feeling dizzy and had a irregular heart rate. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a report of 85-year-old women that had fallen and was confused on April 18 on the 500 block of Second Street S.E.  She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

ACCIDENTS:

A two-vehicle property damage accident occurred in a parking lot of a business on April 5 on the 400 block of County Road 81. Both drivers exchanged information and a state accident report was filed.

A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported on April 14 on the 500 block of Central Avenue. Both drives exchanged information. No charges are pending.

A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported on April 16 on the 500 block of Third Avenue N.W. Both drivers exchanged information. No charges are pending.

A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported on April 18 on the 200 block of Central Avenue. A vehicle rear ended a school bus that stopped to allow a pedestrian to cross the street. The bus did have students on at the time of the collision however there were no injuries. Both drivers exchanged information and a state accident report was filed. No charges are pending.
