ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by
ISD 279 – Osseo Area Schools
for the ISD 279 – Osseo Area Schools, 2013 Pavement Rehabilitation until 2:00 pm local time Thursday May 2, 2013 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders are invited to attend. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened.
All bids shall be on a lump sum basis without alterations, additions, or erasures on the form provided in project manual.
Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, marked “ISD 297 – Osseo Area Schools, 2013 Pavement Rehabilitation” with the name and address of the bidder, the name of the Project, and the date and hour of the opening. Bids shall be delivered to:

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bids.
Copies of the Bidding Documents are on file and available for inspection at Larson Engineering, Inc., 3524 Labore Road, White Bear Lake, MN 55110, MEDA Construction Connection Plan Room, and the Builders Exchanges of Minneapolis, St. Paul
Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of Larson Engineering, Inc. upon payment of $100.00 for each set. The deposit will be refunded if all documents are returned in good condition within ten days of the bid opening date. Electronic copies of the plans and specifications can be obtained from Larson Engineering at no cost.
Each bidder shall include the bid security with the Bid Form as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
A pre-bid conference will be held at the Education Service Center, 11200 93rd Avenue North, Maple Grove, on Thursday April 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm.

CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the Independent School District 279 School Board was held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in the Board Room at the Educational Service Center. Chairperson Henke called the meeting to order at 8:05 PM.
ROLL CALL The following members were present: Board members Dean Henke, Tammie Epley, Jim Burgett, Teresa Lunt, Jacki Girtz, Linda Etim and Superintendent Dr. Kate Maguire.

Plans and specifications, proposal forms and contract documents may be seen at the office of the City Clerk, Maple Grove, Minnesota.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder’s bond naming the City of Maple Grove as obligee, certified check payable to the Clerk of the City of Maple Grove or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract.
The City Council reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids.
Payment for the work will be by cash or check.
Contractors, subcontractors or material suppliers desiring a copy of the plans and specifications and proposal forms may obtain them at The City of Maple Grove Government Center, Minnesota.
All bidders for this contract, including subcontractors and suppliers which have 40 or more full-time employees, shall submit a certified copy of their current Affirmative Action Declaration with their bid.
The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract to the best interests of the City.
