Seniors Jake Herdine and Jackson Lanou and junior Nick Adams will lead the Crimson this year. These three were all-conference last year when the Crimson placed second in conference. Herdine, who went to state last year, and Lanou were recently offered Division 1 scholarships at North Dakota State University and plan on playing golf there next year.

In addition to the three top golfers, Maple Grove is returning its entire varsity, except for one graduated senior. Crimson coach John Petterson will have plenty of new talented golfers to choose from to fill the varsity spots because the Crimson junior varsity placed first in the conference last year.

Jackson Lanou of Maple Grove is back for his senior season.

“We are going to be the team to beat this year in the Northwest Suburban Conference,” said Petterson.

The Crimson have yet to compete because of the winter that won’t go away.
