Sgt. Todd Boelter to retire from WHPS

After 28 years in law enforcement, Sgt. Todd Boelter, of West Hennepin Public Safety (WHPS), will retire Tuesday, April 30. WHPS will host both an open house and a retirement dinner on that day to recognize him for his years of service and dedication to the cities of Maple Plain and Independence.

WHPS is inviting anyone interested in recognizing Sgt. Boelter to an open house from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at Independence City Hall, 1920 County Road 90.

Anyone wanting to attend the retirement dinner must RSVP before Wednesday, April 24, by calling Lynda or Kim at 763-479-0500 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. or by e-mailing [email protected] The dinner will take place on April 30 at B’s on the River, River’s Edge Golf Course, 1455 County Road 27 in Watertown. A 6:30 p.m. social hour will be followed by a 7 p.m. dinner.

Cost for dinner is $25 for adults and $9 for children ages four through nine. Checks made payable to West Hennepin Crime Prevention can be mailed to: West Hennepin Public Safety, 1918 County Road 90, Maple Plain, MN 55359.
