Monday, April 1

Police were flagged down by someone reporting a vehicle in the median at I-94 and Main Street. Arrived and determined it was a personal injury crash. The driver fell asleep and crashed into the median. The driver had minor injuries and declined medical attention. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Chris Allen Kohn, 54, was cited.

Received a gas drive off complaint at 13028 Main St. Officer located the suspect vehicle at a nearby business and determined the license plate had just been stolen.

Judy Lynn Klapperick, 66, was cited for seatbealt violation and no current proof of insurance at South Diamond Lake Road and Northdale Boulevard.

Tuesday, April 2

Responded to a possible DWI at 21451 South Diamond Lake Rd.. Suspect held on felony narcotics. Arrested was Emily Elizabeth Tupa, 18. Cited was Danielle Elizabeth Stay, 19.

Britt Elizabeth Barnes, 47, was cited for inattentive driving after a complaint at westbound I-94.

Party reported her truck was entered and her wallet was stolen from her locked center console at 19850 South Diamond Lake Rd. Victim’s debit cards were later used at Target in Brooklyn Park. Victim’s driver’s license and house keys were also stolen.

Stopped vehicle for speeding, 86/70. Officer observed rear passenger side passenger making suspicious movements in vehicle. Officer ordered that passenger out of the vehicle and discovered an open bottle of rum in plain sight. Officer searched vehicle and discovered a fresh open can of Coors Light. Officer gave preliminary breath test to two underage passengers, which showed the passengers had been drinking. Cited were Aaron Glenn Hietpas, 21; Ashley Ann Green, 21; Alissa Anne Zitzloff, 21; Miranda Haley Broin, 20; and Melanie Ariel McDougall, 20.

Wednesday, April 3

Officer observed a vehicle traveling E/B on Diamond Lake Rd S in the W/B lanes of traffic. Officer stopped the vehicle and determined the driver to be intoxicated. Rene Michael Haindfield, 52, was arrested for 4th Degree DWI.

Officer took a theft report at the Rogers Target. The victim reported that his Bobcat skidloader was stolen from the Target parking lot. A Motorized Equipment Theft Report was completed and the skidloader was entered as stolen. The incident is under investigation.

Theft from new construction home site at 11500 Eagle Creek Lane, where the suspects made entry into a partially secured heated garage, and stole two garage door push button openers and a thermostat that were all hard-wired and hooked up to the garage’s heater and doors. Total loss is about $100.00, but concern is if the suspect/s return for more property/items.

Thursday, April 4

Officer responded to a traffic complaint where the reporting party said he was being followed by another motorist from I-94. The Officer located the two motorists at the Holiday gas station on South Diamond Lake RD and investigated. The event was caused by a road rage incident where both drivers were participants. One driver was cited for Careless Driving for endangering himself, his child passenger, and other motorists. The other driver was cited for disorderly conduct for his offensive and abusive behavior toward the other driver, which served to prolong the incident and further upset and alarm the other driver. Cited were Brett Christopher Procter, 23, and Bryan Jerome-ross Scott, 30.

Officer observed a motorist driving at a high speed on Main Street at South Diamond Lake Rd. The driver sped through the intersection against a red light, cutting off other drivers and causing a property damage accident. Aaron Michael Belford, 34, was cited for careless driving and released at the scene.

Travis James Scott, 22, was cited for no proof of insurance and loud exhaust at I-94 and Main Street.

Laura Griselda Pastrana Campos, 23, was cited for revoked license and no proof of insurance at I-94 and Brockton Lane.

Friday, April 5

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving an intoxicated amd out of control male throwing and breaking items. Officers met with all parties involved as an adult male was placed on a medical hold and transferred by North Ambulance to Riverside.

Saturday, April 6

Michael Joseph Hall, 28, was cited for driving after revocation at County Rd. 81 and John Deere Lane.

Officers responded to an assault that was witnessed between two males at 21421 South Diamond Lake Rd. Limited descriptions were given as Officers searched the area but did not locate either party involved.

Sunday, April 7

Officers were given a driving complaint of an intoxicated male who was in the Wendy’s drive thru. Officers made contact with the suspected driver in the parking lot. David Patrick Delmore, 28, was charged with 2nd Degree DWI refusal.

Jacob John Ganglehoff, 25, was cited for texting while driving at County Rd. 81 and Memorial Drive.

Isaiah Lamont Oneal, 32, was cited for expired registration at County Rd. 81 and Main Street.
