Those going to the city of Osseo’s website will find something new when they go to www.discoverosseo.com. The city has launched its newly redesigned website, which went live April 1.
City Planner Riley Grams gave an update of the new website at the April 8 Osseo City Council meeting.
He said the new website has a wide range of new features. “Mostly, a brand new look, a much cleaner look,” Grams said.
The new site allows for better user navigation as well. Grams said there more information on this site then on the old one. People will also be able to find City Council, Economic Development Authority and Planning Commission agenda, packets and meeting minutes on the new site.
He added there was better contact information on the new site. “Contact information for the various city staff and other important contacts are readily available as well,” he said.
The site also allows for users to easily connect to social platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter, from the home website page.
“We have also started up a blog feature that is done by city staff as well,” Grams said.
He added the website is “a living a breathing thing,” which will be updated and enhanced as needed.
Mayor Duane Poppe said, “Thank you for your effort on that and I think it looks great.”
