Production at Yellow Tree Theatre
NOW TO MAY 5 — Yellow Tree Theatre, 320 Fifth Ave. S.E. in Osseo, will host the world premiere of a rockin’ new musical, “Stay Tuned,” with an original score by acclaimed local singer/songwriter, Blake Thomas. “Stay Tuned” follows Rusty, Scotty & Emma, the heart and soul of The Emerald Coffee Radio Hour. As the show celebrates its 60th anniversary its legendary host, Bob, passes away leaving his son, Gordon, holding the reigns. The old and the new collide head-on when Gordon hires pop-media-personality, Ashabell Baker, to take over as host. Rusty and the crew struggle as they try to find balance between preserving tradition and moving toward the future in this touching, often hysterical, new musical. Performances run from April 5 to May 5 on Wednesdays to Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $17 to 23 and can be purchased by calling the Yellow Tree box office at 763-493-8733 or online at yellowtreetheatre.com.
