The following is sample of calls reported by Rogers Police from Monday, March 25, through Monday, April 1.
Monday, March 25
Rogers resident, who is a licensed therapist, reported an ex-client
came to her residence today. The subject has not been a patient at the clinic for over 3 years and there is a
history of dissatisfaction over services rendered in the past. The complainant was provided information on
trespass options and harassment/restraining orders.
Tuesday, March 26
Theft of Bobcat forks was reported from a job site at 23398 128th Ave.
Thomas Michael Peppin, 26, was cited for no proof of insurance at Hwy. 101 and County Rd. 36.
Officer dispatched to business on a theft report. The reporting party was a former employee (driver) for business. He had
been a no show earlier this month, at which point his personal property was removed from the business truck
and stored inside. When went to retrieve his belongings he reportedly is missing approximately $2,000 in
Maurice Ameil Davis, 20, was cited for speed and driving after suspension at Main Street and South Diamond Lake Road. The driver also had a warrant through Dakota County. He was
transported to Hennepin County Jail.
Wednesday, March 27
Travis L. Rhyme, 29, was arrested for third-degree DWI at 21753 South Diamond Lake Rd.
Party calling in and reporting that he saw two employees of a business at 13785 Rogers Dr. sitting out in a car smoking
marijuana. Party advised he could smell it and that it was a really strong odor of marijuana. Party advised
that the person was observed going inside the business to retrieve a delivery driver sign that he put on the
vehicle, which identified that he was an employee. Person smoking was identified as a tall and skinny white
male driving a black Honda, and the other party was a white male later seen driving a small blue car also
with a sign. Caller advised he was concerned about the employees driving in his neighborhood delivering
while “high.” Update: Manager at business was spoken to and was advised of the residents concern.
Kyle Anthony Johnson, 19, was cited for expired registration and marijuana paraphernalia at South Diamond Lake Road and George Weber Dr.
Officer was called to the Rogers Travel America truck stop for a suspicious male party who was taking
pictures of a waitress. The restaurant manager said that he had already spoke with the man and asked him
to stop taking photos and the man complied. The manager asked what options he had for dealing with the
customer and then said that he did not want the Officer to intervene.
Officer observed passenger not wearing his seatbelt at Holiday store, Main and I-94. Vehicle was stopped and driver did not have valid
license. Both parties were cited for violation. Cited were Edmund James Gallagher, 50, and Edmund Joseph Gallagher, 23.
Officers responded to a disurbance at Super America involving two females. Officers met with witnesses and
both parties. Adonya Kaye Pacheco, 36, was arrested.
Thursday, March 28
Katelynn Kay Eichstaedt, 21, and Nicole Rae Creighton, 22, were cited for a property damage crash involving two vehicles at Valley Drive and Fletcher Lane.
Friday, March 29
Officers responded to the residence with Rogers Fire on a report of a male with chest pain, possible heart attack. The
71-year-old male was located conscious and alert, nitro spray had been administered by his wife. He eventually
went in and out of cardiac arrest. North Ambulance crew performed CPR in the residence and
ambulance each time the patient recovered. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital. Officers assisted the
patient’s wife in making contact with an adult child.
Jennifer Lynn Larson 33, was cited for expired driver’s license and expired registration, at South Diamond Lake Road and I-94.
Saturday, March 30
Joshua Michael Turnquist, 19 was cited for minor consumption and possession of alcohol at Birch Drive.
Michael Lloyd Smith, 24, was arrested for third-degree DWI at Main Street and 147th Avenue.
Sunday, March 31
Officer dispatched to business at 21455 John Milless Dr. to take a theft report. At approximately 5:38 a.m. hours a party was
observed via surveillance taking the entire 15 Star/Tribune daily paper supply from the exterior store
entrance. The delivery driver had dropped the supply approximately 3:30 a.m. hours. The suspect was driving a
newer dark colored hatchback, the suspect loaded the 15 papers in the rear hatch. The suspect car entered
and exited at the John Milless Drive access. The reporting party was encouraged to review additional footage when the store
showed paper shortages. Contact the police department if similar suspects and patterns develop. Identification of
suspect/vehicle not possible with the low light conditions. Total loss $26.25.
Megan Colleen Swanberg, 23, was cited for using Facebook on her phone which caused her to stay stopped for a green light at Main Street and South Diamond Lake Road.
Monday, April 1
Asset protection reported a theft which occurred March 24. Staff determined a shortage of five digital
cameras and one digital video recorder each valued at $300. The surveillance was reviewed. They located a
male suspect use a Kohl’s temporary shopping bag to conceal the items and walk out w/o paying. Similar
theft occurred at the Roseville store appearing to be the same suspect. Suspect is unknown. Case will be
referred to Hennepin County Detectives, total loss $1800.
