Rockford’s Etzel elected clerks vice president

Audra Etzel, Deputy Clerk for the City of Rockford has been elected as Region IV., Vice President for the Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers Association of Minnesota (MCFOA) for 2013-14. The election was held during the Association’s Annual Conference in Saint Cloud in March. The MCFOA was established in 1937 to promote professional standards for City Clerks and Finance Officers. The Association provides educational opportunities through regional meetings and annual conferences and sponsors continuing education workshops for its certification program.

Audrea Etzel, Rockford Deputy Clerk, was recently elected as Vice President of MCFDA, an organization that sponsors and educates municipal employees.

Etzel has been employed by the City of Rockford as its Deputy Clerk for over four years.

She has been awarded the designation of MCMC, Minnesota Certified Municipal Clerk; and from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, the designation CMC, Certified Municipal Clerk.

The MCFOA has over 800 members from throughout the State of Minnesota, including City Clerks, Treasurers, Clerk-Treasurers, Clerk-Administrators, Finance Officers and Deputy City Clerks.
