In March, Girl Scouts from Rockford Junior Troop 13725 pooled their creative resources and created 33 “birth kits” for expectant mothers in Liberia that will be delivered by an outreach program traveling to Africa this month. The kits included zip-lock bags, soap, examination gloves, receiving blankets, cotton string, razor blades and other necessary items.
