This year at the Expo, more than 90 local vendors participated to show the variety of merchandise and services offered. New this year, Rockford Area Schools presented their can structures built by students in each school building to highlight all of the food collected during the monthly food drive. Rockford Area Schools students collected over 1600 pounds of food for the Riverworks Food Shelf.  Free health screenings sponsored by the Rockford Lions were another new addition to the Expo this year.  27 local residents had their blood pressure and cholesterol checked and screened for diabetes.

“This was the perfect day to see who the local business people are and what they have to offer,” said Rockford Lion Lee Ashfeld. “I would encourage all area residents to stop by every year to check it out; there are wonderful things happening in our community.”
