Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from March 8 through March 21, 2013.

Arrests:

A 22-year-old Ramsey woman was arrested on March 10 on County Road 81 for fourth degree DWI. Her vehicle was impounded and she was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

A 43-year-old Osseo woman was arrested on March 16 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for a suspended driver’s license and no insurance on her vehicle. She was released with a citation and her vehicle was impounded.

A 36-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested on March 17 on Hwy. 169 for forgery/financial card fraud. He was booked at the Hennepin County Jail. The case is under investigation by the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

Incidents:

A theft of laundry detergent was reported stolen on March 8 from Dean’s Market. Two female suspects were caught on surveillance. The case is under investigation by the Osseo Police.

Osseo Police responded to a possible fight on March 9 on the 400 block of Second Street N.E. Police learned there was no fight however both subjects were intoxicated. One subject was transported to detox and the other was released to a sober adult with a citation for minor consumption.

Osseo Police responded to a verbal dispute on March 14 on the 200 block of First Avenue N.W. The incident was meditated by responding officers and there were no arrests made. There are no charges pending.

A theft from Princeton’s Wine & Spirits was reported on March 20. A suspect was identified and the case has been forwarded to the City Prosecutor for charges.

Osseo Police responded to a domestic dispute on March 21 on the 200 block of Second Street S.E. Police were able to mediate between both parties and no arrests were made. The case has been forwarded to the City Prosecutor for possible charges and also Home Free.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 84-year-old male having a possible heart attack on March 13 on the 600 block of Central Avenue. He was transported to Mercy Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 59-year-old male having a possible heart attack on March 16 on the 200 block of Third Avenue S.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 59-year-old male with an erratic pulse on March 18 on the 200 block of Third Avenue S.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 15-year-old female that overdosed on medications on March 19 on the 300 block of Second Street S.E. She was transported to Abbott Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to an 86-year-old man having a possible heart attack on March 19 on the 400 block of First Avenue N.E. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.
