Arrests &Citations

On Sunday, March 10, at 12:23 p.m. at Highway 55 and Arrowhead Dr., Meagan Marie McCarty, 31, of Osseo was found to be driving with a revoked driver’s license and was unable to provide insurance information. Driver was arrested and will be charged by a formal complaint.

On Saturday, March 16, at 5:44 p.m. on the 700 block of Highway 55, a report regarding Controlled Substance – 5th Degree was referred to the Hennepin County Attorneys office for charges on Tracy James Taylor, 52, of Medina.

On Sunday, March 17, at 12:28 a.m. at Highway 55 and Sioux Dr., Mark Joseph Beaudoin, 42, of Savage was arrested for DWI with a BAC of .14.

Theft

On Wednesday, March 6, at 9:25 a.m. on the 4500 block of Willow Dr., it was reported that two suspicious persons entered several vehicles in an employee parking lot. Nothing has been reported missing.

On Wednesday March 6, at 5:18 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., there was a gas drive-off of $20.01.

On Saturday, March 9, at 4:26 p.m. on the 200 block of Highway 55, there was a gas drive-off of $25.02.

On Wednesday, March 1, at 1:43 p.m. on the 300 block of Medina St. an ice auger, valued at $500, was taken from the bed of a truck.

On Thursday, March 14, at 4 p.m. on the 700 block of Highway 55, there was a gas drive-off of $50.24.

On Thursday, March 14, at 5:37 p.m. on the 1300 block of Baker Park Rd., there was a gas drive-off of $55.29.

On Sunday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Highway 55 there was a report of a stolen vehicle.

Other

On Monday, March 4, at 7:34 a.m. on the 400 block of Highway 55, a hotel guest reported that an individual in an adjacent room had been smoking marijuana overnight.

On Monday, March 4, at 7:41 a.m. at Highway 55 and County Rd. 101, a driver reported that someone threw something at his vehicle.

On Monday, March 4, at 4:07 p.m. on the 100 block of Hamel Rd., an ongoing problem of dogs running off-leash was reported.

On Tuesday, March 5, at 9:41 a.m. on the 100 block of Medina St., Loretto, there was a report of an assault between apartment tenants over snow shoveling. No arrest was made.

On Wednesday, March 6, at 4:40 p.m. on the 1300 block of Hunter Dr., a resident reported being awakened by someone pounding on the door and ringing the doorbell, who then drove off.

On Friday, March 8, at 6:53 p.m. on the 300 block of Lorenz St., Loretto, it was reported that an individual broke a window and tried to unlock the door from the inside, then left the scene.

On Tuesday, March 12, at 8:12 a.m. on the 100 block of Hamel Rd., there was a report of a suspicious male loitering in the lobby of an area business, who left and went to the post office. The male was located and stated that he was waiting for a ride.

On Thursday, March 14, at 3:35 p.m. on the 3700 block of Lilac Dr., a caller reported that she’d received a letter from Salem University in Massachusetts stating that her personal information may have been stolen due to a computer virus.

On Wednesday, March 13, at 11:14 a.m. at Chippewa Rd. and Sunnyridge Lane, Loretto, there was a report of a suspicious vehicle occupied by a male.  Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

On Saturday, March 16, at 3:11 p.m. on the 900 block of Sunset Ct., a complainant reported receiving numerous prank phone calls.
