Maple Grove yard waste site to open April 1

The Maple Grove Yard Waste site will open for the season Monday, April 1.

Hours of operation are Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m. The site is closed on Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day.

Residents can bring the following items to the site at no charge: leaves, grass, lawn and garden waste, brush materials and logs up to 10 inches in diameter. Brush and logs from 10 inches to 22 inches diameter will be charged $8 per cubic yard.

Area residents from Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Crystal, Dayton, New Hope and Rogers can use the site at no cost.

All materials brought to the site must be debagged at the site and bags removed. The Maple Grove Yard Waste Site is a designated disposal site for ash tree waste.
