Arrests

Corcoran Police reported a DAS/Speed arrest Tuesday, March 19 at 7:03 p.m. at County Rd. 10 and County Rd. 50. Arrested was Ignacio Rodriguez Gomez, 26, of Minneapolis for driving after suspension of his driver’s license.

Corcoran Police reported a DAC-IPS arrest Saturday, March 23 at 3:50 p.m. at 235XX Pioneer Tr. Arrested was Steven William Frank, 34, of Richfield for driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety, of his driver’s license.

Corcoran Police reported a DAR arrest Saturday, March 23 at 4:58 p.m. at County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 50. Arrested was Jeremy John Rychly, 36, of Delano for driving after revocation of his driver’s license.

Corcoran Police reported a disorderly conduct arrest Saturday, March 23 at 7:46 p.m. at 78XX Maple Hill Rd. Arrested was Joshua Jon Clyne, 38, of Glendale, AZ for disorderly conduct-brawling or fighting.

Corcoran Police reported a disorderly conduct arrest Saturday, March 23 at 7:46 p.m. at 78XX Maple Hill Rd. Arrested was Ryan Adam Melicher, 30, of Corcoran for disorderly conduct-brawling or fighting.

Corcoran Police reported a No MN DL arrest Saturday, March 23 at 9:17 p.m. at Maple Hill Rd. and County Rd. 10. Arrested was Miguel Angel Gomez, 39, of Minneapolis for driving without a valid MN DL.

Property Damage

The department reported a personal injury accident Monday, March 18 at 4:13 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 19 and County Rd. 50. The vehicle was southbound on County Rd. 19 just south of County Rd. 50. The vehicle started swerving on the ice and snow packed road. The vehicle went off the west side of the road, rolled over and crashed into a field fence. The driver reported minor injuries.

The department reported a property damage accident Monday, March 18 at 6:17 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 101 and Stieg Rd. Vehicle #1 was northbound on County Rd. 101 and vehicle #2 was stopped on County Rd. 101, pulling out vehicle #3, which was stuck off the road. Vehicle #1 slid into vehicle #2, causing vehicle #2 to slide into vehicle #3. Vehicle #1 sustained major damage and the other vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.

The department reported a personal injury accident Tuesday, March 19 at 8:26 a.m. in the area of County Rd. 50 and Strehler Rd. Vehicle was westbound on County Rd. 50, just west of Trail Haven Rd. The vehicle hit the ice and began to skid and slide on the icy roadway. The vehicle lost control and rolled over into the south ditch. The driver suffered broken bones.

The department reported a property damage accident Wednesday, March 20 at 1:58 p.m. in the area of 105XX County Rd. 101. The reporting party stated they had run into a ditch and hit a mailbox. The reporting party advised they were southbound on County Rd. 101 when they hit some ice and went into the ditch, damaging the mailbox.

The department reported a property damage accident Thursday, March 21 at 3:11 p.m. in the area of County Rd. 10 and County Rd. 19. Vehicle #1 was stopping for a semi that was making a right-hand turn into a parking lot. Vehicle #2 also stopped; however, the driver of vehicle #3 did not see the other vehicles were stopped and struck the rear of vehicle #2, which, in turn, struck the rear of vehicle #1.

Theft

Theft of identity was reported Tuesday, March 19 at 1:19 p.m. in the 202XX block of Hillside Dr. The reporting party stated they received a book in the mail that they did not order. Upon further checking, they found an unknown person had used their credit card to set up an account and order the book. The unknown suspect had also set up a data storage account with a company in California. A third purchase was stopped before it was processed completely.

Medicals

The department responded to a medical emergency Tuesday, March 19 at 10:24 p.m. in the 81XX block of Strehler Rd. An 89 year old male was having chest pains. The patient was transported to Methodist Hospital by North Ambulance.

The department responded to a medical emergency Thursday, March 21 at 5:09 a.m. in the 81XX block of Strehler Rd. An 89 year old male was very lethargic. The patient was transported to Methodist Hospital by North Ambulance.

The department responded to a medical emergency Friday, March 22 at 6:20 p.m. in the 225XX block of County Rd. 117. A 93 year old female had fallen earlier in the day. The patient was transported to Maple Grove Hospital by North Ambulance.

The department responded to a medical emergency Saturday, March 23 at 12:15 a.m. in the 200XX block of Darrell La. A 53 year old female was having a seizure. The patient was transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Miscellaneous

The department responded to a report of a suspected drunk person on Thursday, March 21 at 9:41 p.m. in the 93XX block of County Rd. 19. The reporting party stated there was a person that was getting ready to drive off and they had been slurring their speech. Officer was out of position and after running the plate number, found that the vehicle was registered to an address nearby. The Officer attempted to locate the vehicle, but was unable to find it.

The department responded to a report of a suspicious act on Thursday, March 21 at 11:30 p.m. in the 194XX block of County Rd. 30. The reporting party had heard some kind of noise by their basement window. The Officers responded to the residence and checked the perimeter. The Officers found no tracks and did not find anything suspicious at that time.

The department responded to a report of loud music on Friday, March 22 at 11:26 p.m. in the 78XX block of Maple Hill Rd. The reporting party stated there was loud music playing. The Officers checked the area. They could hear loud bass, but were unable to determine where it was coming from. As the Officers were searching the area, the music stopped.

The department responded to a report of loud music on Saturday, March 23 at 12:34 a.m. in the 78XX block of Maple Hill Rd. The reporting party stated there is loud music that comes and goes. The Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the loud music.

The department responded to a report of a possible drunk person on Saturday, March 23 at 2:13 p.m. in the 97XX block of County Rd. 101. The reporting party stated there was a very drunk male leaving on a snowmobile. Officer was unable to locate the person in question.

The department responded to a report of a suspicious act on Monday, March 25 at 4:20 a.m. in the 79XX block of Eagle Ridge Rd. The reporting party stated there was a vehicle with someone lying down in it parked in the neighborhood. Officers checked the vehicle and found it to be the paper delivery person. No further issues.
