Roadways to close April 1 at Highway 169/County Road 30 (93rd Avenue) interchange

The contractor for the Highway 169/County Road 30 (93rd Avenue) Interchange Project is planning on removing the existing traffic signal and closing County Road 30 at Highway 169 Monday, April 1, at roughly 9 a.m.

The closure will extend from Xylon Avenue on the east to roughly Fifth Avenue in Osseo on the west and will prohibit some traffic on County Road 30 and Highway 169.

Work will include reconstructing County Road 30 (93rd Avenue) to pass over Hwy. 169, eliminating the existing traffic signal there, constructing loop ramps in the northeast and northwest quadrants for access to and from Hwy. 169 to the south and providing bicycle and pedestrian trails along both sides of County Road 30.

The closure is expected to last until the end of October this year. However, the proposed loop ramps to and from south 169 are expected to be open to traffic by mid-August.

Detour signing will be posted.
