Rockford-Greenfield Community Expo, March 16

There truly is something for everyone at the  11th Annual Rockford-Greenfield Community Expo.

Mark your calendars now and plan on attending the expo on Saturday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rockford Community Center. Admission is free.

Start the day out with a good breakfast and learn more about local youth sports opportunities at the Third Annual Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Rockford Area Athletic Association and Rockford Community Education. From 8 to 11 a.m., world famous Chris Cakes will be serving up pancakes for a nominal fee in the Rockford High School Commons. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Andrew Family from Rockford.

The Rockford-Greenfield Community Expo runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rockford Community Center Fieldhouse. Over 70 local businesses will have products and services on display. Vendors range from home improvement, education, health and wellness, financial, real estate, service organizations, home based businesses and more. Each year new vendors add to the variety of local businesses represented at the expo.

Be sure to stop by the Rockford Area Schools booth to meet Rockee and get your picture taken with the Rockford Rockets Mascot. Want to be entertained? Come and listen to performances by the Rockford High School Jazz Band, the Rockford Area Schools Staff Band and the National Anthem Team.

All who attend the Rockford-Greenfield Community Expo are invited to register for hourly cash and door prize drawings. The Rockford Community Center is located on the southeast corner of Rockford High School at 7600 County Rd. 50 (Rebecca Park Trail) in Rockford.
