Wright County Attorney’s report

The following is a list of some of the sentencing by the Wright County Court for the week of Feb. 25:

Mitchell Logan Brausen, 23, of DELANO was sentenced Feb. 25 for gross misdemeanor violation of no contact order to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 355 days, $2,600 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 10 days jail, pay $400 fine plus surcharges, have no contact with victim, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order/no contact order, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, undergo a psychological evaluation and follow all recommendations, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Jack Taylor Haulton, 29, of CORCORAN was sentenced Feb. 27 for gross misdemeanor attempted burglary in the fourth degree to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 354 days, $2,700 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 11 days jail, pay $300 fine, pay restitution, undergo a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations, undergo a psychological evaluation and follow all recommendations, provide a DNA sample, write a letter of apology, pay restitution, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Todd Russell Sutherland, 44, of ST. MICHAEL was sentenced Feb. 25 for probation violations for felony controlled substance crime in the fifth degree to four days jail. Sentenced by Judge Tenney.

Tracy James Taylor, 52, of HAMEL was  sentenced Feb. 27 for probation violations for felony controlled substance crime in the fifth degree to 21 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Tenney.
