Dramatic curling championship!

Team Hulting from St. Michael-Albertville, left to right, Skip-Kelly Hulting, Vice-skip-Joe Martin, 2nd-Reid Weber and Lead-Matt Becker, recently participated in the Leroy Zarling Memorial Bonspiel, at the Bemidji Curling Club. Down 4-1 after three ends, Team Hulting rallied in dramatic fashion to score a point in the sixth end to win 5-4 to win the second event championship. Each year this open Bonspiel attracts 40-60 novice teams from around state, with about six to seven participating teams from the St.Michael-Albertville area.
