Champlin City Council will meet Monday, March 11 for work sessions and a council meeting at Champlin City Hall. The first work session will begin at 5:45 p.m. to discuss bids for phase 2 of the Andrews Park improvement project. The regular council meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with a special presentation from Champlin Park Youth Hockey Association. An overview of the work session will follow.
The consent agenda includes: authorizing a change order for the 2012 bituminous reclaim and pave improvement project; a resolution accepting the bid and awarding the contract for the 2013 street seal coat project; a resolution accepting the bid and awarding the contract for the 2013 street crack seal project; approving a massage therapist license for Han Spa and Body Care.
Unfinished business will include considering: a resolution approving a site plan to construct a 90-foot telecommunications tower in the southwest corner of 6000 109th Ave. at Jackson Middle School.
New business will include: consideration of approving a contractor for phase 2 improvements at Andrews Park.
Council will also present appointments to the Environmental Resources Commission.
Following the council meeting, the council will conduct a work session to discuss street lighting as part of the 2013 street reclaim and pave improvement project.
