Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the City of Osseo from Feb. 6 through Feb. 20, 2013.

Arrests:

Osseo Police responded to a possible domestic assault in progress on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive on Feb. 7. Osseo Police arrested a 34-year-old Brooklyn Park man for fifth degree domestic and booked him at the Hennepin County Jail.

Osseo Police arrested a 23-year-old Brooklyn Park man on Feb. 10 for a second degree refusal to test, and third degree DWI on the 100 block of First Avenue N.W. His vehicle was impounded and held for vehicle forfeiture. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department.

A 35-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested on the 200 block of Sixth Street N.W. on Feb. 12 for no insurance and driving after revocation. He was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 20-year-old Brooklyn Park man on Feb. 17 on the 400 block of Second Street S.E. after the vehicle he was driving was pulled over for a traffic violation. He was issued a citation for under 21 drinking and driving and driver allowing an open container of alcohol.

Incidents:

Two vehicles were reported broken into at the Osseo Ice Arena on Feb. 6. Contact was made with the owners of both vehicles. There are no suspects.

A cell phone was reported stolen from a locker at the Osseo High School on Feb. 13. The case has been forwarded to the School Resource Officer. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police found an unsecure door ajar to a closed business on the 600 block of Central Avenue on Feb. 19. A search of the business was done with a K9 unit and an employee was located sleeping inside. Contact was made with the business owner which told officers the employee was allowed to be there. There are no charges pending.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to a 44-year-old male that feel on ice, possibly breaking a bone in his leg on the 50 block of Central Avenue on Feb. 6. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 15-year-old female with a possible heard injury from a fall while playing basketball at the Osseo High School on Feb. 12. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 91-year-old male having severe pain on Feb. 8 on the 600 block of Central Avenue. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a possible drug overdose on the 100 block of Fourth Avenue N.E. on Feb. 9. The 32-year-old patient was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 58-year-old male having a possible heart trouble on the 200 block of Third Avenue S.E. on Feb. 12. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a possible alcohol poisoning on Feb. 15 on the 200 block of Fourth Avenue S.E. The victim was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 58-year-old male having a possible heart attack on the 200 block of Third Avenue S.E. on Feb. 16. He was examined by paramedics but refused transport to the hospital.

Osseo Police responded to a 75-year-old female having difficulty breathing on Feb. 19 on the 600 block of Central Avenue. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Accidents:

Osseo Police responded to a two-car property damage accident at Second Street S.E. and County Road 81 on Feb. 6. Both drivers exchanged information and a state accident report was filed. One driver involved was issued a citation for failing you yield right of way. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
