Osseo gymnasts end season at sections

The Osseo gymnastics team placed seventh at the Section 5 meet Feb. 13 at Park Center.

The Orioles scored 115 points and did not qualify any gymnasts to state. Osseo competed during the regular season with gymnasts from Fridley, but the team was split because the Fridley gymnasts competed in a different section meet.
Top Osseo finishers in the section were:
Vault: 12. Amanda Gullord 8.75, 21. Kailyn Canady 8.35, 28. Jhania Blanchard 7.95, 29. Samantha Pallum 7.9, 37. Rachel Holly 7.35.
Jhania Blanchard is one of the talented young gymnasts on the Osseo squad.
Bars: 13. Gullord 7.9, 22. Megan Noack 7.
Beam: 10. Gullord 8.475, 29. Noack 7.1.
Floor exercise: 24. Gullord 8.05.
All-around: 12. Gullord 33.175, 19. Blanchard 28.075.
