Osseo Police

The following is a synopsis of some of the incidents that occurred in the city of Osseo from Jan. 10th through Jan. 24th, 2013.

Arrests:

Osseo Police arrested a 44-year-old women from Ramsey on Jan. 10 on 100 block of Sixth Street N.W. for driving a vehicle without insurance and expired registration. Her vehicle was impounded and she was released with a citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 20-year-old Brooklyn Park man on Jan. 10 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for providing a fake vehicle insurance card to a police officer. He was also charged with no insurance. His vehicle was impounded and he was released with a citation.

Osseo Police arrested a 28-year-old Brooklyn Center man on Jan. 14 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for driving after cancelation, inimical to public safety. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department and his vehicle was also impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 25-year-old Plymouth man on Jan. 15 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for driving after cancelation, inimical to public safety. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department and his vehicle was also impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 52-year-old Maple Grove woman on Jan. 15 on the 700 block of Third Street N.E. for fourth degree DWI and fourth degree alcohol concentration over .08. She was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department and her vehicle was impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 32-year-old Anoka man on Jan. 16 on the 500 block of Third Ave. N.W. for a predatory offender registration violation. He was booked at the Anoka County Jail in Anoka.

Osseo Police arrested a 20-year-old female from Brooklyn Park on Jan. 19 for driving after suspension. She was issued a citation and released.

Osseo Police arrested a 38-year-old Brooklyn Park man on Jan. 19 on the 300 block of Broadway Street East for driving after revocation and second degree DWI. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Police Department. His vehicle is being held for possible forfeiture.

Osseo Police arrested a 23-year-old Maple Grove man on Jan. 20 on the 400 block of County Road 81 for third degree DWI. He was booked at the Brooklyn Park Jail and his vehicle was also impounded.

Osseo Police arrested a 54-year-old Minneapolis man on Jan. 20 on County Road 81 for driving after suspension. He was issued a citation and released. A valid driver was present to drive the vehicle.

Osseo Police arrested a 46-year-old Champlin man on Jan. 24 for driving after suspension and no insurance on County Road 81 at Jefferson Hwy. He was issued a citation and released. His vehicle was also impounded.

Incidents:

Osseo Police responded to a welfare check on Jan. 12 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. The caller reported hearing a child crying for a extended period of time. Officers made contact with parents of the child and verified there was no problem with the child. No charges are pending.

Osseo Police responded to a possible domestic assault on Jan. 13 on the 100 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. One person involved left prior to officers arriving. There are no charges pending.

Osseo Police were notified by Osseo Public Works staff on Jan. 17 of theft of copper and brass fittings from City buildings. The total loss is around $500. There are no suspects.

Osseo Police responded to a vandalism complaint on the 300 block of Third Street N.E. on Jan. 20. The victim reported somebody had tossed eggs at her garage door. There are no suspects identified.

Osseo Police responded to a 911 hang up call on the 100 block of Broadway Street E. on Jan. 21. No problems were found.

Medicals:

Osseo Police responded to the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Jan. 10 for a 64-year-old female that fell and hit her head. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 200 block of Seventh Ave. N.E. on Jan. 12 for a 33-year-old male having severe pain. He was transported to Fairview Southdale Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 100 block of Second Street S.E. on Jan. 12 on a report of a 38-year-old unconscious male. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. on Jan. 13 for a 51-year-old male that was dizzy and passed out. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 200 block of Fifth Ave. S.E. on Jan. 14 for a 56-year-old male that fell and hit his head. He was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 600 block of Third Ave. N.E. on Jan. 15 for a 85-year-old female with lower back and hip pain. She was transported to North Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the 200 block of Fourth Ave. S.E. on Jan. 15 for a 66-year-old female having a possible stroke. She was transported to Methodist Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 76-year-old female having trouble breathing on Jan. 16 on the 50 block of Sixth Street N.E. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 81-year-old female having a possible heart attack on Jan. 17 on the 600 block of North Oaks Drive. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 29-year-old female having severe pain on the 600 block of North Oaks drive on Jan. 19. She was transported to the hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a ill person on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Jan. 20. The person was given oxygen and transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 85-year-old female having a possible heart attack on the 500 block of Second Street S.E. on Jan. 21. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to a 77-year-old female having a possible heart attack on the 600 block of Central Avenue on Jan. 21. She was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Ambulance.

Osseo Police responded to the Osseo Junior High School for a 15-year-old student that fainted after working out on Jan. 22. The student was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove by North Ambulance.

Juvenile: 

Osseo Police arrested a 16-year-old juvenile male for misdemeanor theft on Jan. 12 on the 300 block of Central Avenue. He was released to a family and issued a juvenile citation.
