Dayton Council designates official appointments

At their Jan. 8 council meeting Dayton City Council approved numerous official appointments and designations. They include the following:

• Acting Mayor – Eric Lucero

• Planning Commission Liaison – Rick Shermer

• Public Safety Commission Liaison – Eric Lucero

• Park Commission – remains open

• Elm Creek Watershed Representative – Doug Baines with Scott Salonek as alternate

• League of Minnesota Cities – Mayor Tim McNeil

• Northwest Hennepin League of Municipalities – Mayor Tim McNeil with Eric Lucero as alternate

• I-94 Corridor Commission – Mayor Tim McNeil with Eric Lucero as alternate

• I-94 West Chamber of Commerce – Mayor Tim McNeil with City Administrator Samantha Orduno as alternate

• Metro Cities – Mayor Tim McNeil with Eric Lucero as alternate

 

The council also designated Champlin Dayton Press as the official newspaper with the Minneapolis Star Tribune as the alternate. Official depositories include 21st Century Bank, Wells Fargo and UBS Financial Services, Inc., with Mayor Tim McNeil, Councilor Scott Salonek and City Administrator Samantha Orduno as authorized signatories.
