Maple Grove Police

The following is a synopsis of several incidents that occurred during the week of Jan. 4 through Jan. 10, 2013.  Refer to the city website Crime Mapping Section for additional details in regards to the crimes of Burglary, robbery, arson, theft and auto theft.

Friday, Jan. 4

9900 block of Orleans Lane — There was a theft report of a cell phone stolen.

12000 block of Elm Creek Blvd. — There was a theft report of a wallet stolen at a restaurant.

13600 block of Grove Drive — There was a theft report of merchandise stolen from a store. The suspects fled on foot.

12900 block of 63rd Ave. — There was a report of a window smashed out of a vehicle.

Yasmin Moallim, 31, of St. Paul was arrested for forgery and giving a peace officer a false name at County Road 30 and Blackoaks Lane.

Saturday, Jan. 5

18900 block of 97th Place — The department responded to a medical call for an individual with an allergic reaction. Officers administered oxygen until the victim was transported to the hospital by paramedics.

9800 block of Balsam Lane — The department responded to a medical call for an individual having difficulty breathing. Officers provided oxygen until the paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.

Paul Reekers, 43, of Maple Grove was arrested for third degree DUI, third degree DWI driving while impaired and careless driving at 76th Place N. and Nottingham Parkway N.

Sunday, Jan. 6

9000 block of Zanzibar Lane — There was a theft report of property stolen from a vehicle.

6600 block of Kilmer Way — There was  theft report of stolen credit card.

Parrish Martin, 30, of Minneapolis was arrested for fourth degree DUI alcohol concentration over .08, fourth degree DWI driving while impaired and driving after revocation on the 2300 block of Wight Bay in Brooklyn Park.

Chadwick Ehlert, 23, of Plymouth was arrested for fourth degree DWI driving while impaired, fourth degree DUI alcohol concentration over .08, careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia at Elm Creek Blvd. and Main Street.

Cheri Swap, 31, of Minnetonka was arrested for fourth degree DUI alcohol concentration over .08, fourth degree DWI driving while impaired and careless driving at County Road 30 and Dunkirk Lane.

Monday, Jan. 7

11600 block of Lakeland Drive — There was a burglary report of property stolen from a public storage unit.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

9000 block of Archer Lane — There was a burglary report of property stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

13300 block of Bass Lake Road — There was a theft report of a vehicle leaving a gas station without paying for gas.

9100 block of Comstock Lane — There was a report of damage to a condominium complex lockbox.

11500 block of Fountains Drive — There was a theft report of merchandise stolen from a store.

Other

There were 25 property damage traffic accidents reported during this time period.

Daniel Croaston, 34, of Rogers was arrested Dec. 30 for domestic abuse/violation of order for protection on the 17300 block of 72nd Ave.

Tony Zuberbuehler, 46, of Brooklyn Park was arrested Dec. 30 for careless driving, following too close and third degree DWI driving while impaired at Boone Ave. N. and Brooklyn Blvd. in Brooklyn Park.

Andrew Morton, 30, of St. Francis was arrested Dec. 30 for fleeing a police officer, warrant arrest, driving after revocation and possession of drug paraphernalia at I-94 and Weaver Lake Road.

Jennifer Bahr, 41, of Elk River was arrested Dec. 31 for third degree DWI at 73rd Avenue and Hemlock Lane N.

Ralpheal Jones, 26, of Brooklyn Park was arrested Dec. 31 for domestic assault at Elm Creek Blvd. and Main Street N.

Victor Doe, 21, of Plymouth was arrested Jan. 2 for warrant arrest and fleeing a police officer on the 12800 block of Arbor Lakes Parkway N.

Brie Nodgaard, 29, of Osseo was arrested Jan. 2 for careless driving, second degree DUI and second degree DWI on the 12000 block of Elm Creek Blvd. N.

Ricky Meeks, 54, of Excelsior was arrested Jan. 3 for giving a false name to a police officer and domestic abuse/violating an order for protection at 82nd Avenue N. and Main Street N.
