Hockey: Rogers girls fall to Bison 6-1

The Buffalo Bison peppered Rogers with 57 shots and beat the Royals 6-1 in Rogers.
Katie Rooney had two goals and two assists, with Emily Varner, Ashley Effertz, Abby Halluska and Lindsay Roethke scoring once each for the Bison (3-1 conference, 13-4 overall).
Marisa Soppeland scored for Rogers (1-3 conference, 5-7-2 overall).
Rogers was to host North Wright County Tuesday.
